Dear Friends,

After 12 of the most exciting and fulfilling years, starting a business from a dream and single handedly running the best skate park in the country, with the best team in the country, CBMK Skate Park will be closing its doors at the end of February.

I am so proud and thankful to have had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most diverse and talented group of people for more than a decade. I would like to thank everyone who has come through the doors, supported the park, volunteered and got your hands dirty over the past 12 years. You helped me live my dream on a grand scale and for that I thank you.

My contact info is below and I will continue to teach skateboard lessons all across Ontario. I look forward to continuing our relationships as I focus on future endeavors.

Damn Am Toronto

Today was the first day of Damn Am Canada at ashbridges bay skate park with Biggest Kickflip, Best Trick and the Last Man Standing Team manager/VIP contest happening all under a cloudy sky with crazy humidity. Planning for a rain day tomorrow the contest has been moved to the underpass skatepark just under the DVP.

Todays events went down with out a hitch and the fun mellow vibe made it an enjoyable day. All the details can be found over at the Skatepark of Tampa, but two notable mentions were Jon Cos winning best trick with a big fat frontside flip over the hole on the bank wall and Brett finished DFL in the Last Man Standing contest for the Team Managers.

We would normally apologize for closing but when it comes down to it, we are going out to have some fun at the summers last big contest in Ontario. The Damn Am is back again this year with the same rad crew from Spotlight productions and a reduced rate so you cheap skates can try to get yourself into Tampa. Hope you can afford the flight and hotel!!!

Be sure to join us on both friday sept 7 and saturday sept 8 for Canada’s largest AM contest, the Damn Am at the beaches skatepark or Ashbridges as it is commonly known. If you are lucky to be there friday you might just see CBMK’s owner Brett Keon shredding in the LAST MAN STANDING vip/TM industry contest. Should be a funny thing to watch the old transition legs skate a so called street contest! Come and have a laugh on him at 4pm. Check the links for details.
